Wiring motion sensors
Motion sensors need three wires: supply, GND and a data conductor. On motion, most sensors output a high (HIGH) signal level.

Connect only a low-voltage sensor that operates in the documented signal-level range. Before wiring,
check the supply voltage and output signal level on the sensor datasheet.
Setup in the app
Most motion sensors output a HIGH signal level on motion, so select the HIGH option when configuring in the app.
